about

In 2013, when Susan and I were planning the release of third Tim Lee 3 full-length, "Devil’s Rope," we got together with our pals Cecelia Miller and Greg Horne to form a quartet to play acoustic versions of a few of our songs.

We called this collaboration Quake Orphans and we played a few local shows before setting up on September afternoon in 2012 at Morelock’s Music to record. We played live, and then Greg took the tracks home, where he sweetened them a bit and mixed them.

The resulting seven-song CD was provided as a limited-edition premium item during the pre-sale for "Devil’s Rope" and has been unavailable since.

A recent query about the recording prompted us to decide to put it out there for free download.

Check it out. We hope you dig it.
